Stampin Up March 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit - Create More Handmade Cards using just the Stamp Set

What do you do with the back of the cardbase after we remove it from the card front? STAMP ON IT of course. These cards do exactly that. I have used all the cardbase fronts from the March 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit and now have a bunch of backs needing to be used. I have come up with this card as a way to do just that. If you don’t have any cardbase backs then you can also use whisper white cardstock instead. I love creating alternative cards with Paper Pumpkin Kits so make sure to come back for more tutorials as I continue to create with this month’s kit.

I also send a free exclusive card kit designed by me to all my Paper Pumpkin customers who received the March 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit. The card with the Rain Boots is the card they will be making with their kit. I include all cardstock and accessories needed to make two of this card (adhesive and ink are not included). Card #1 -
1- Cut the back of the card front in half so you get 2 pieces that are 2 ½” x 3 ½” or use Whisper White cardstock.
2- On one piece create the background by stamping the grass image in Pear Pizzazz along the bottom long edge of the cardstock. You can use the stamp off, stamp on technique to get a lighter shade between the clumps of grass. Stamp the grouping of small flowers in Calypso Coral ink along the top of the grass. You can vary the direction of the stamp to get different heights.
3- On the other piece stamp the rain boots image in Basic Gray. Then stamp the inside floral pattern in Shaded Spruce. Fussy cut out the boots.
4- Add the stamped background to the Pear Pizzazz cardstock. The sides should match up and then center between the top and bottom. Wrap 23” of Linen thread around the bottom twice and tie a bow on the left side.
5- Adhere the boots with dimensionals to the left over the linen thread.
6- Add the Calypso Coral cardstock to the center of the Whisper White cardbase. Then add the stamped images above center in the middle of the card with dimensionals.
7- Add some rhinestones around the images.

All Done!
Card #2
1- Cut the back of the card front in half so you get 2 pieces that are 2 ½” x 3 ½” or use Whisper White cardstock.
2- Cut the Shaded Spruce envelope flap to 1 ¼” x 4 ¼”
3- On one piece stamp the door step scene in Basic Gray ink. Use the aqua painter and the following ink colors to add color to the image:
Gray Granite – House (not door)
Balmy Blue – Windows
Shaded Spruce – Topiaries
Calypso Coral – Small basket of flowers
4- On the other piece stamp the large basket of flowers in Basic Gray. Use the aqua painter to add color, then fussy cut.
Calypso Coral – Flowers
Shaded Spruce – Leaves
5- Add the Balmy Blue cardstock to the Gray Granite cardbase. Then add the Shaded Spruce stripe DSP across the bottom leaving a little Balmy Blue cardstock peeking out.
6- Wrap 13” of twine around the bottom of the door step scene, tie a bow on the left. Then add it with dimensionals over the Balmy Blue cardstock. Center it so there the same amount of space on the top, left, and right sides.
7- Add the basket of flowers with dimensionals over the twine. Then add some rhinestones or sequins around the images.

All Done!
