I'm back with Paper Pumpkin Alternative #3 using the June 2026 Bikes & Blooms Kit! This card is another fun easel design, but this time I've kept things quick, simple, and easy to recreate.
I love how the bicycle becomes the focal point of the card, while the little die-cut flowers and leaves add just the right amount of detail.
The easel fold gives the card a fun
interactive element without requiring a complicated construction. Once you have
the pieces prepared, this card comes together surprisingly quickly.

Measurements
Crushed Curry Cardbase - 5-1/2" x
8-1/2" scored at 4-1/4" & 2-1/8" (easel fun fold -
horizontal)
Old Olive - scrap for die cut leaves
Basic White - 3-1/4" x 5-1/4" &
1/2" x 2-1/2"
Blue Bike w/ Yellow Background Piece*
Green Stripe Envelope (Back)* - 3/8" x
3-1/4"
Pink Flap Envelope* - 3 Die Cut Flowers
Card Assembly Instructions
1. Create the Easel Card Base
Start with the Crushed Curry cardbase and score with the
8-1/2" edge at the top of your Paper Trimmer at 4-1/4" and
2-1/8". Fold along the score lines so the bottom half of the front of the
card folds back and create the easel mechanism.
Burnish the score line well with a Bone Folder so the card
opens and stands easily.
The bottom portion of the card remains
flat and gives you a place to write your message.
2. Add the Background Bicycle & Greeting
Adhere the Blue Bike w/ Yellow Background
Piece to the bottom section of the card front.
Cut from the Back of the Green Stripe Envelope a 3/8" x 3-1/4" strip with the lines running vertically. Using the Fine Point Tip of the Light Old Olive Blend Marker, darken each Green Stripe. Cut each end at an angle and adhere to the right center area of the card front with dimensionals.
Stamp "Thank you" in Black Ink on the Basic White 1/2" strip. Cut each end to an angle and adhere above the Green Stripe Strip.
3. Add the Flowers
Cut 3 Pink Flower Groups from the Pink
Flap (we trimmed it off of the envelope for card #1) using the die from the
Wonderful Scene Dies Set.
Cut 4 Leaves from Old Olive Cardstock
using the die from the Detailed Flora Dies (this die cut two at a time!) You
will want to cut off the top stem part so you only see the leaves.
Add 1 Flower Group to the Basket on the
front of the Bike with a glue dot.
Add 1 Flower Group to the left of the
greeting with a glue dot. Tuck two sets of leaves near the flowers with glue
dots.
Adding a small cluster near the greeting
helps connect the basket of flowers to the rest of the card.
4. Create the Easel Stopper & Finish the Inside
Stamp a greeting in the bottom right
corner of the 3-1/4" x 5-1/4" Basic White piece. Adhere it to the
lower portion of the inside of the card (there should be a small border around
the sides and bottom. Use Stampin' Dimensionals so when the card is
opened, the folded front panel will rest against the raised top edge of this
piece. This piece can be used for your personal message.
I kept this area mostly clean, adding
just a small cluster of the die-cut flowers and leaves in the lower corner near
the greeting.
This little detail ties the inside of the
card back to the flower basket on the front.
And that's it! It's such a simple way to
create a fun fold without a lot of extra pieces or complicated measurements.
How to Display the Easel Card
To open the card, simply pull the front
upward and fold it backward along the score line.
The front panel will stand upright and
rest against the raised White piece.
When you're finished displaying it, the
card folds flat again so it can easily be placed in an envelope.

In my YouTube video, I'll show you
exactly how I turned the Bikes & Blooms kit pieces into this quick and
simple easel card, including how to position the bicycle, layer the small
flowers and leaves, and create the easel stopper.

Why I Love This Card
This is one of those Paper Pumpkin
alternatives that looks like you spent much longer making it than you actually
did!
The Bikes & Blooms Kit does
most of the work for you. The bicycle is already beautifully designed, the
flower pieces are ready to layer, and the coordinating colors make it easy to
pull everything together.
The easel fold adds the fun factor, while
the little flowers and leaves give the card that extra special touch.
If you're looking for a quick Paper
Pumpkin alternative that still has a WOW factor, this one is definitely worth
trying!
I hope this project inspires you to pull
out your June 2026 Bikes & Blooms Kit and give those extra pieces a whole
new life.
