Stacked Die Cut Sentiment = WOW Dimension | Paper Pumpkin Alternative for January 2026 Special Delivery Kit

Welcome back to Paper Pumpkin Week here on Creative Chelsey!

Today I’m excited to share my seventh alternative card design created with the January 2026 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Special Delivery.

This card really shows just how many possibilities are packed into one kit. By layering and stacking pieces, you can create extra dimension and make certain elements stand out in a big way.

If you recreate this card, be sure to tag me @creativechelsey or use #creativechelsey so I can see your version!

Below you’ll find the full step-by-step tutorial, measurements, and supplies so you can create along with me.

Card Assembly Instructions

1. Cardbase

Splatter the front of the Crumb Cake Cardbase with Crumb Cake ink. I used the Dark Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blend Marker.

2. Cut the Envelope

Cut the Blue Plaid Envelope to 3-1/2" x 5-1/8" with the white address label about 1/2" from the left & top edges.

Stamp images around the edges:

Heart Love Circle - in Crumb Cake ink

Cancelled Postage - in Mossy Meadow ink

Tiny Row of Hearts - Blueberry Bushel ink

Trim the bottom edge into a Banner Shape then add to the center of the cardbase with the top edge matching.

3. Add Details

Tuck the Gold Scallop Edge under the left edge of the Blue Plaid Banner in the lower half.

Add the Green & Floral Postage Stamp to the Mossy Meadow Cardstock piece. Add to the top right area of the Blue Plaid Banner with dimensionals.

Layer the Blue Flower Postage Stamp in the center of the Blueberry Bushel piece. Add to the bottom left area with dimensionals.

4. Add the Greeting

Add Adhesive Sheet to Gold Foil Sheet and Basic White Cardstock. Die cut your choice of greeting - I used the Beautiful Die from the Beautiful Blooms Die Set.

Cut one from Gold Foil and two from White.

Stack the Gold Foil on top of the whites to create a thick die cut. Add it to the area between the two Postage Stamp Elements.

5. White Embossing

On the 3/8" x 3-1/2" strip of Gold Foil. Use an Embossing Buddy and then stamp your greeting in VersaMark ink.

Add White Embossing Powder and heat with a Heat Tool until shiny.

Gently wipe off the Embossing Buddy with a microfiber cloth.

Add to below “Beautiful” with dimensionals & glue dots.

6. Finish with Embellishments

Tie a double bow with 15” of White & Gold Baker’s Twine and adhere to the top left area with a glue dot.

See the video below for a quick tutorial on tying the bow.

I’ve also created a step-by-step video tutorial showing how I layered the background, stacked the die cut for extra dimension and tied the double bow - check it out.
