Welcome to Paper Pumpkin Week here on Creative Chelsey. Over the past couple days, I have shared some great card ideas you can make with one set of supplies from this month’s kit. Today I am sharing with you my fourth alternative idea using the May 2024 Paper Pumpkin Kit called The Best There Is.
The kit creates a total of 9 greeting card 3 in three different designs. If you would like to watch me unbox the kit and create these cards or see any of my other alternatives click on the playlist link below

This card uses the dark
cardbase with the center design in a unique way. I love spring time and the
white blossom you see on trees, this card was inspired by those trees.
Each month I take the contents from the paper pumpkin kits and make alternative projects. My cards are easy to follow and can be made by both experienced or new paper crafter. You may need just a couple other products to complete them. You can follow along with me using supplies you already have or purchase any products you see me use from my online store.

Thick Basic White Cardbase – 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”
Mossy Meadow Cardstock – 1” x 5”
Basic White Cardstock – scrap for greeting
Woodgrain Envelope (kit) – 1” x 5” from the back side
Early Espresso Cardbase (kit) – 3” x 5”
Crumb Cake Cardbase (kit) – scraps for die cut
Wild Wheat Foliage (kit)
Linen Thread – 12”
1- Cut the front of the Early Espresso down to 3” x 5” so
the Hexagon detail is in the center. I did this by removing ½” from the bottom
edge (edge without the score line). Then rotate and measure to 3” to remove the
score line and center the detail vertically.
2- Measure from the edge of the cardstock to the points
of the Hexagon, one side will be ¼” longer. On that side, remove ¼”. Then trim
both sides at 1/8” to have a final width size of 5”.
3- Trim all side of one envelope to separate the front
from the back. Along the bottom edge of the back trim a 1” x 5” strip.
4- Add the Mossy Meadow strip along the bottom edge of
the Early Espresso piece with about ¼” showing. Then add the 1” Woodgrain
Envelope strip. The final size of all things together should be 3 ¾” add this
to the front of the cardbase.
5- Cut out a Hexagon from the leftover Crumb Cake Cardbase scraps with the Thanks & Beyond Hexagon Die. Stamp in Mossy Meadow the tree image going across the label. Add this to the center with dimensionals.
6- Add little white dots around the card, focusing on the trees, and branch details on the sides.
7- Add the remaining Wild Wheat foliage to the bottom right corner of the Hexagon. Add a faux bow with 12” of Linen Thread in the center of the foliage.
8- Stamp your greeting in Misty Moonlight ink and trim down or separate the words. I used “To The Most Amazing Person”. Add this with dimensionals on top of the foliage and label.
9- Add more White Dots around the greeting if you want.
I have also created a video walking you through each step.
