Welcome to Paper Pumpkin Week here at Creative Chelsey. I love getting my Paper Pumpkin Kit every month and creating fun alternative projects using the supplies in the kit. Today I am sharing my third and last alternative idea using the April 2023 Paper Pumpkin Kit called All The Little Things.
This beautiful kit creates 9 handmade cards. There are enough supplies to make three of each card. What I like to do is use the supplies in the kit along with some other products and create different or alternative projects. Today I am sharing a fun and simple layout you can use with many different images and pattern papers. I hope you give this card idea a try.
If this project inspires you to create something, I would love for you to tag me in any social media post using @creativechelsey | #creativechelsey or email me at chelsey@creativechelsey.com.
It is Paper Pumpkin Week here on Creative Chelsey. This is the last alternative this week. If you would like to see all my alternatives check out the playlist here: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL40dV1oxpkNm7M_0v-ZSzVBkB6IHUPVt1

Card Prepping
1- Separate the remaining leaves from the larger die. You
can keep the bottom two leaves that are connect by the main stem. The other three
will be loose.
2- Separate the large flower die in half creating a small and medium size sections.
3- Cut the background pieces.
Card #1 – Cut the Blue & White Ombre Card Front at 3 ½”
so you end up with a 3 ½” square of Blue & White Ombre and a 1 ¼” x 3 ½”
Blue rectangle.
Card #2 – Open an envelope by cutting off the fold edges.
Remove the flap along the score line. Cut the solid front piece to 3 ½” x 3 ½”
and cut a 1 ¼” x 3 ½” piece from the flap. See video for details.
Card #1 & Card #2
1- Add the Die Cuts to the 3 ½” square pieces. See video
for details.
Card #1 – With the white area on the right side. Layer the leaves behind the smaller floral section. I only used dimensionals on the flowers. Start by placing the two leaves with the stem at the bottom.
Then cover up the cut area on the right leaf with the far-right flower. Then tuck in the other three leaves around the flowers.
Card #2 – Add the medium floral section to the center of
the 3 ½” envelope square with dimensionals.
2- Stamp your greeting in Shaded Spruce ink.
Card #1 – Stamp the greeting in the center of the blue 1 ¼”
x 3 ½” strip.
Card #2 – Stamp the greeting on the white side of the
Petal Pink Circle Label.
3- Add the 1 ¼” x 3 ½” strip to the bottom of the 3 ½” square. Place two dimensionals in the top corners. Place about ½” above the bottom of the 3 ½” square so they overlap. This will cover the bottom of the die cuts and create a fun look.
4- Embellish.
Card #1 – Wrap 4”-5” of twine at the top of the 1 ¼” strip
attaching the ends to the back of the square. Then take 8”-10” of twine and tie
a knot around the attached twine, then tie a bow. See video.
Card #2- Cut the Calypso Coral row of Circles with two
circles on the left and the rest on the right. Add them over the top of the 1 ¼”
strip. Place the greeting over the gap. Add 3-5 rhinestones.
5- Add everything to a coordinating cardbase with an even border along the sides and top and a larger border at the bottom. I used Shaded Spruce for Card #1 & Petal Pink for Card #2. Make sure to support the bottom 1 ¼” strip with dimensionals.
All Done!

I love these alternatives! I especially appreciate how you demonstrate using embellishments and bits and pieces to hide cut lines. Thank you for teaching how to get the very most value out of each and every kit!
