New Product Spotlight LOVELY YOU Stamp Set & How To Add An Embossed Edge To Die Cut Shapes

I have been loving all the new products in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. Today I have for you another tutorial using the new Lovely You Stamp Set to create this handmade card. This stamp set is a great one to have in your craft room because the images are solid and don’t require any extra techniques to use them. The greetings are so versatile you can make a lot of different types of cards from this set. It would be a perfect one for a new stamper. In this tutorial I show you a couple ways to use these images with the Stampin’ Write Markers to give the images a little more interest and color. I then demonstrate how to add an embossed edge to your die cut shapes to give it a little more pizzazz. I would love to see your finished creations that are inspired by this tutorial! 1. Begin stamping the leaf images along the left side of the 3” Whisper White cardstock in Just Jade and Mint Macaron ink.
2- Stamp the flowers on the 2” Whisper White cardstock. 5 small flowers in Bumblebee ink, use the Black Stampin’ Write Marker to color in the center. 3 large flowers using the Rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Write Marker for the petals and the Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Write Marker for the bottom section and a little along the bottom of each petal. Fussy cut each flower out.
3- Stamp your greeting in Blackberry Bliss. Center one of the labels from the Tasteful Labels Dies over the greeting and cut with your Die Cutting Machine. Place the label back into the die on the back side use the stylus end from your Take Your Pick tool and rub along the edge to create more pressure for the details. Then move the stylus to the inside edge of the die and rub along the edge to create an embossed look on the inside of the label.
4- Add the Blackberry Bliss ½” strip to the left side of the stamped cardstock so a little less than ¼” is showing. Adhere these to the front of the cardbase on the right side.
5- Add 13” of ribbon to the back of the greeting in a faux bow shape. Adhere to the bottom third of card with dimensionals.
6- Add the flowers around the greeting and down the edge. Place 3 rhinestones around the greeting.

All Done!
