The Cutest Easter Card from the February 2026 Paper Pumpkin Kit – Celebrate Spring

Welcome back to Paper Pumpkin Week here on Creative Chelsey! Today I’m sharing my fifth alternative card idea using the February 2026 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Celebrate Spring.

This card is perfect for Easter, and I love how the sweet bunny and basket filled with colorful eggs create such a cute spring scene. The soft pastel colors in the kit make it easy to design cheerful cards that feel perfect for the season.

For this alternative, I layered the basket and bunny elements together to create a fun focal point and added a simple Happy Easter greeting to finish the design.

Card Assembly Instructions

1. Create the Background
Stamp the Grass image in Shy Shamrock across the bottom of the Light Green Cardbase piece. You can do a couple layers if you want.

2. Add the Pattern Strips
Attach one Pink Pattern strip to the right side of the Light Green Cardbase piece with dimensionals. It should be centered with about 1/4" showing.

Repeat for the second strip on the other side. Add this to the center of the cardbase with dimensionals in the center and adhesive under the Pink Pattern strips.

This technique saves you so much paper!

3. Build the Easter Basket & Bunny
Layer the basket die cut in the center of the Grass with dimensionals.Add the colorful eggs inside the basket with dimensionals.

Attach the bunny die cut on the right side of the basket using dimensionals.

4. Add the Sentiment
Manipulate the Happy Easter stamp so it is straight on your clear block.

Use an Embossing Buddy over the Peach Pie strip, then stamp your greeting in VersaMark ink. Apply White Embossing Powder and heat until shiny.

Trim down to fit around the greeting, about 3”. Add a strip of leftover Pretty In Pink from the Postage Die to the bottom of the greeting and trim the edges. It creates a cute little scallop edge.

Add to the base of the Basket & Bunny with dimensionals.

Finish with Twine
Tie a small bow with the pink twine around the left side of the Basket Handle for a soft finishing touch.

Why I Love This Card

This card feels so sweet and playful, and it’s a great example of how you can take the pieces from your Paper Pumpkin kit and turn them into a fun seasonal card.

The bunny and basket create such a cute Easter scene, and the soft pastel colors make it perfect for spring.
