Panel Card with Large Die Cut - July 2025 Paper Pumpkin Alternative Card Idea - Stampin' Up!

Welcome to Paper Pumpkin Week here on Creative Chelsey. Today I am sharing another beautiful Alternate Card Ideas you can make with supplies from the July 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Sweeter With You.

The cards in this kit are so fun and bright with strawberry die cuts and fun patterns.  The kit includes everything you need to make 8 cards, 2 in 4 different designs.

For my fourth alternative I am using the large Strawberry Die Cut as the focal point for this quick & easy card.

Thick Basic White Cardstock – 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”

Pink Dots Cardbase (kit) – (4) 1” x 3-1/2”

Pool Party Cardstock – 3-3/4” x 5-1/2”

Basic White Cardstock – scraps for stamping & die cutting

Small Rectangle Label (kit)

Linen Thread – 10”

 

1- Make sure to use the Cutting Guide (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tkw0xnEZqQ0MfOrVRrz8lxn8lG_DphZL/view?usp=drive_link) to cut your pattern paper to the right size from the cardbases in the kit.

2- Add the four 1” x 3-1/2” Pink Dot pieces to the Pool Party Cardstock. Add two directly to the edges of the top & bottom, then another with about 1/8” space leaving a larger opening in the middle. Add this to the center of your cardbase.

3- Add the Large Strawberry Die Cut to the center of the card with dimensionals.

4- Stamp your greeting in Garden Green in on Basic White Cardstock and fussy cut out. Add it to the center of the Strawberries with dimensionals.

5- Flip the Small Rectangle over to the white side and stamp a second greeting in Garden Green. Add it below the first greeting with dimensionals.

6- Tie a bow with 10” of Linen Thread and add with a glue dot to the bottom left corner of the greetings.

All Done!

Thick Basic White Cardstock – 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”

Pink Dots Cardbase (kit) – 1” x 2”

Pink & Orange Plaid Cardbase (kit) – 3-3/4” x 5”

Strawberry Slush Cardstock – 4” x 5-1/4” & 2-1/4” x 3-3/4”

Basic White Cardstock – 2” x 3-1/2” & scraps for stamping & die cutting

Sequins – 5

 

1- Make sure to use the Cutting Guide (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tkw0xnEZqQ0MfOrVRrz8lxn8lG_DphZL/view?usp=drive_link) to cut your pattern paper to the right size from the cardbases in the kit.

2- Add the Large Pink & Orange Pattern piece to the center of the large Strawberry Slush piece. Add it to the center of the cardbase.

3- Add the Pink Dot Pattern to the left of the Basic White 2” x 3-1/2” piece. Stamp your greeting in Garden Green on the right side a little higher than center. Add it to the center of the 2-1/4” x 3-3/4” Strawberry Slush piece.

Then add with dimensionals to the left side of the cardbase with the edges matching.

4- Stamp 4 Strawberries, 2 in Flirty Flamgino & 2 in Strawberry Slush with 4 Leaves in Garden Green. Cut them out with the coordinating shapes from the Circle of Season Dies. Add them around the greeting with dimensionals.

5- Cut out 5 small flowers with the Circle of Season Dies in Basic White cardstock. Color the center with Daffodil Delight Dark or Light Blend.

Add with a small glue dot around the greeting and strawberries.

6- Add 3-5 light pink sequins around the flowers & strawberries.

All Done!

1- Make sure to use the Cutting Guide (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tkw0xnEZqQ0MfOrVRrz8lxn8lG_DphZL/view?usp=drive_link) to cut your pattern paper to the right size from the cardbases in the kit.

2- Add the Pink & Orange Plaid Pattern to the large Strawberry Slush piece at the bottom with even borders along the sides and bottom.

3- Add the Pink Dot Pattern pieces at the top of the Strawberry Slush piece with a 1/8” border. I placed the 2” x 2” first on the left side, then the 1” x 2” on the right side and finished with the 1-1/2” x 2” in the middle.

4- Cut a banner shape from the sides of the Pool Party strip and add between the Plaid & Dotted papers.

5- Stamp your greeting Hello, Friend in Garden Green Ink on the coordinating greeting label. Add to the center of the Pool Party piece with dimensionals.

6- To save Linen Thread: Place a glue dot in the bottom right area of the greeting. Take 21” of Linen Thread, place the ends together and measure about 4” down from the ends and add it to the glue dot. Take the remaining Linen Thread and evenly space it across the card and wrap the looped ends to the back, adhering it with Tear & Tape.

7- Add everything to the cardbase, make sure to reinforce the Linen Thread so it doesn’t pull off. Then tie the ends of the Linen Thread into a bow.

8- Add the three Strawberries to the Panels with dimensionals. I add the Largest Strawberry on the left and the two small ones in the middle. Add the 2 flowers around the strawberries.

All Done!

1- Make sure to use the Cutting Guide (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tkw0xnEZqQ0MfOrVRrz8lxn8lG_DphZL/view?usp=drive_link) to cut your pattern paper to the right size from the cardbases in the kit.

2- Cut from the front of the cardbase 1” from the right side.

3- Add the Pink Dot Pattern to the large Strawberry Slush piece. There will be a small 1/16” borader. Adhere it to the front of the cardbase in the center.

4- Add the Pink & Orange Plaid Pattern to the small Straweberry Slush piece it will also have a 1/16” border. Add it to the inside of the cardbase on the right side with a matching border as the front. It should show when the card is closed.

5- Stamp your greeting in Garden Green Ink inside the Scallop Circle. Add with dimensionals to the right side of the front, make sure to only place the dimensionals so it attaches to the top and not the inside.

6- Take 18” of Linen Thread and create a double faux bow on the left bottom area of the scallop.

7- Add a Large Strawberry Die Cut over the Linen Thread bow.

8- Add three White Flower Die Cuts around the card. I did use one with a dimensional in the top right corner and attached it to the inside but slightly over the front so it could act as a latch to hold the front down.

All Done!
