Create Repeating Text Patterns - Quick & Easy - June 2024 Paper Pumpkin Alternative Card Ideas

Hi Everyone and welcome to paper pumpkin week here on Creative Chelsey. Over the last week or so I have shared some great card ideas you can make with one set of supplies from the June 2024 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Life Is Sweet. Today I am sharing with you my fifth alternative card idea.

The projects from this kit creates a total of 9 greeting card 3 in three different designs. If you would like to watch me unbox the kit and create these cards or see any of my other alternative projects, click on the playlist in the top right corner.

Today I will be using some simple techniques to create a repeating text pattern that is the perfect touch to this simple & elegant card idea.

Each month I take the contents from the paper pumpkin kits and make alternative projects. My cards are easy to follow and can be made by both experienced or new paper crafter. You may need just a couple other products to complete them. You can follow along with me using supplies you already have or purchase any products you see me use from my online store.

Thick Basic White Cardstock (5-1/2” x 8-1/2" card base score/fold at 4-1/4”)

Pumpkin Pie Cardstock (1” x 4” & scrap for die cut)

Peach Pie Ink Pad

Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Write Marker

Thanks & Beyond Dies (add-on)

Wink of Stella

Peach Pie Envelope (scraps) – kit

Vellum Decorative Label – kit

Leaf Frame Die Cut (scraps) – kit

Three Small Peach Die Cuts - kit

1- Trim Peach Pie envelope to measure 3-3/8" x 4-7/8".  Stamp sentiment all over panel at an angle in  Peach Pie ink. Splatter with another orange ink color, I used Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Write Marker.  Adhere to cardbase using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

2- Cut each side of Pumpkin Pie strip into a fish tail (banner) shape and adhere about 1-3/4" from top.

3- Die cut “thanks” from the Decorative Label Vellum piece and die cut second “thanks” in Peach Pie from any leftover envelope pieces. Adhere layers together liquid glue (brush on lightly so it doesn’t show through vellum).

4- Add Wink of Stella to the top of “thanks” and adhere in the center of the Pumpkin Pie strip with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

5- Cut a straight piece from the leftover Leaf Frame Die Cut. Separate any leaves from the sides. Attach to Pumpkin Pie strip as shown.

6- Tie bow with 8” of Linen Thread and adhere near “s” using Glue Dot.

7- Add three small Peach Die Cuts around the greeting with glue dots or dimensionals.

I have also created a video walking you through each step.
