Welcome to Paper Pumpkin Week here at Creative Chelsey. Today is my third alternative card idea using the April 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit – So Cool. This is another Fun Fold Gate Handmade Card. This fun card opens up by removing the bottom section of the card from under the Popsicle and then lifting up the top section to reveal the inside. I love how simple and easy this card is to make, a perfect way to say “Way to Go!”
I love creating alternative cards with Paper Pumpkin Kits so make sure to come back for more as I continue to create with this month’s kit. I would love to see your finished creations that are inspired by this tutorial! 1- Score the cardbase on the 11” side at 1 ½” & 7”. When folded the sides should meet. On the 1 ½” section stamp the scatter dots image in coordinating color (Old Olive / Calypso Coral)
2- On the 3 ¾” x 5” color cardstock. Use a coordinating Stampin’ Write Marker (Old Olive / Calypso Coral) and draw horizontal lines. Adhere to the larger flap only, should have about ¼” border all around the cardstock.
3- Adhere the ¾” strip (Blackberry Bliss / So Saffron) to the top of the 1 ½” section. Should have about ¼” overhang. Add the Bermuda Bay strip at the bottom of the first strip.
4- Adhere the Popsicle at an angle, with dimensionals only at the top and in the middle. This leaves the stick and bottom area open for you to tuck in the flap.
5- Stamp your greeting “Way to Go!” in the circle die cut. Add 10” of twine to the back in a faux bow. Add to the Silver Starburst with dimensionals. Place near the bottom of the Popsicle. Add some Rhinestones.
