Global Stampin' Video Hop - April 2024 **ROYALTY** YOU'RE A QUEEN - Use your products in unique ways

It is time for another tutorial for the Global Stampin’ Video Hop on YouTube. Each month on the fourth Friday Stampin’ Up Demonstrators from around the world come together and share their projects based on a monthly theme. April’s Theme is – Royalty. I am so excited to see what everyone creates this month.

This was kind of a hard theme for me since I don’t have any stamps that have the typical royalty themed images, so I had to get creative. Can you guess my train of thought for this card?  I knew I wanted to have Queen as part of my greeting so I used a couple fun products to create a unique sentiment, then I pulled in the heart images because I thought of Queen of Hearts. I am excited to share with you some of the fun techniques I used on this card in today’s tutorial.

I hope you are inspired today as you see all the Royalty Themed Projects from everyone while jumping from video to video. If you are inspired to make a project from something you see today please share it with us, we would love to see what you come up with. You can tag me @creativechelsey in any social media post.

Product List

Measurements:

Bubble Bath Cardbase – 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”

Berry Burst Cardstock – 4” x 5 ¼” & scraps for cutting out hearts

Bubble Bath Cardstock – scraps for greeting

Fresh Freesia Cardstock – scraps

Granny Apple Green Cardstock – scraps

Soft Sea Foam Cardstock - scraps

1- On the 4” x 5 ¼” Petunia Pop Cardstock – this will be the card front, add a little splattering with a Berry Burst Stampin’ Write Marker. Then add a couple little hearts from the Hooray For Surprises Stamp Set in Berry Burst ink.

2- Die cut two large hearts with holes using the Hooray For Surprises Dies in Petunia Pop Cardstock. I forgot in the video to add a little blending around each heart with Berry Burst ink. This will make them pop a little more from the front of the card. Add these to the center of the card front, one on top of the other.

3- Add Wink of Stella to each of the hearts for a little more pizzazz.

4- If you have one, use a White Gel Pen to add another layer of splatter to the background. Add this to the front of your Bubble Bath Cardbase.

White Gel Pen (this is my favorite from amazon)—— https://amzn.to/3Rp9LrZ      (As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases)

5- Cut out 3 or 4 copies of Queen in Bubble Bath Cardstock with Adhesive Sheets on the back. I used the Playful Alphabet Dies (retired) but you can also use the Mini Alphabet Dies. Stack them together to make a thicker word.

6- Use a ruler to find the center of the card front and to help you add the letters in a straight line. Add them between the two hearts.

7- Find a stamp set that has “you’re” & “a” and stamp this on Bubble Bath Cardstock in Berry Burst ink. I used the Best Family Every Set. Trim down to fit greeting and add with dimensionals above Queen.

8- Cut out any extra dies or stamped images you want to add, I used the Large & Small Flower and both leaves from the Hooray For Surprises Dies in Fresh Freesia, Granny Apple Green & Soft Sea Foam Cardstock.

9- Add these in the bottom right corner & near the top left of the greeting. Add any little details with a White Gen Pen.
