Welcome to Paper Pumpkin Week here at Creative Chelsey. I love getting my Paper Pumpkin Kit every month and creating fun alternative projects using the supplies in the kit. Today I am sharing my second alternative idea using the April 2022 Paper Pumpkin Kit – Change Is Beautiful.
This kit comes with everything you need to make 9 Beautiful Cards, 3 in three different designs. What I like to do is use the supplies in the kit along with some other products and create different or alternative cards. Today I am sharing a card made with the Night scene from one of the cardbases. I love creating alternative projects with Paper Pumpkin Kits so make sure to come back for more as I continue to create with this month’s kit.
If this project inspires you to create something, I would love for you to tag me in any social media post using @creativechelsey | #creativechelsey or email me at chelsey@creativechelsey.com.

1- Trim the Night scene down to 4 1/8” x 5 3/8”. Remove the moon & star die cut pieces. Keep some of the stars. Hold on to the other loose pieces for future cards.
2- Add Crushed Curry watercolor wash to the 2” So Saffron
Circle. Let dry. Add behind the moon with dimensionals. Then add to the
cardbase with strong adhesive (no dimensionals).
For a quick watercolor tutorials see yesterday's post. I share how I created the same circle for a different card.
3- From the Flower Cardbase, cut the back panel 2 ¾” from the right edge, removing the area with no flowers. Fussy cut out the leaves.
4- Add the leaves to the bottom area of the Night Sky. It may be helpful to add the Flower Die Cut first with dimensionals and then tuck the leaves in and around the flower.
5- Add the Yellow Star and 3-4 white stars and two yellow flowers.
6- Stamp the greeting on the Basic White piece. Fold down one corner and add to the card with dimensionals.
And embellishments in the shooting star
All Done!
