Today I would like to share with you my upcoming Online Card Class for March 2024. In this class we will be creating 6 Handmade Cards while learning fun techniques with the Soft Pastels from Stampin’ Up. There are three techniques I will be teaching that create beautiful backgrounds for your cards. We will do each technique twice the second time with a little twist. You can complete the cards with your choice of Stamp Set. I will be using the Painted Lavender Bundle and Petal Park Stamp Set with the Coordinating Petal Park Builder Punch. These sets do not have any greetings so I will also be adding the Perennial Postage Stamp Set with the Thoughtful Expressions Dies for the sentiments on each card. You can choose which set you want to use or pick one you already own. When choosing your Stamp Set, I would look for bold floral designs that also include greenery and other small elements.

I love how each background gives a different feeling to the cards. Some have a softer dreamy feeling while others create a bolder brighter look.

The textures you can create with soft pastels offer unique looks you can’t achieve with any other mediums. I am excited to share these techniques with you.

BEAUTIFUL BACKGROUNDS - SOFT PASTELS TECHNIQUES - CARD CLASS - $35 (US Only)

You will receive a class kit from me that will include the below supplies:

• Cardstock, Cardbases, and Envelopes for all 6 cards (no precut shapes will be included)

• New Pack of Iridescent Foil Gems

• A Roll of Crumb Cake Baker’s Twine

• One Blender Pen

• One Small Blending Brush

If you are interested in purchasing two or more kits so you can make more sets of cards, I will be offering a Cardstock Only Refill Kit for $15 It includes all the cardstock & envelopes to make another set of cards. It does not include the Gems, Crumb Cake Twine, Blender Pen or Blending Brush. You will have enough of these items leftover from the full kit to make more cards. Please note that the Cardstock Refill Kit can ONLY be purchased along with one FULL kit. You can purchase as many of either kit as you would like. Please make sure to add this option to your registration before checking out.

This class will take place in a private Facebook Group and on YouTube with a Private link. Please specify when registering if you would like the YouTube link (it will be emailed out about 5 minutes before 10am MT each day).  If you can’t participate live I can also send an email with both the video replay and PDF tutorial after the live class. Please choose this option when registering.

In this Facebook Group I will post:

• Written instructions for each card (PDF) so you can create more cards and use the techniques over and over again.

• Live Videos for each card where I will walk you through each step to create the cards. Watch live or when you have the time.
