Welcome to Paper Pumpkin Week here on Creative Chelsey.
Today I am sharing with you my third alternative card using the February 2024 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Sweet Springtime. The projects from this kit perfect for this time of year, it creates a total of 6 greeting card 3 in two different designs, and 3 gift boxes. If you would like to watch me unbox the kit and create these projects click on the link below.

Each month I take the contents from the paper pumpkin kits and make alternative projects. My cards are easy to follow and can be made by both experienced or new paper crafter. You may need just a couple other products to complete them. You can follow along with me using supplies you already have or purchase any products you see me use from my online store. All links are below.
The cards today use the Daffodil Dies from The Love Of Spring Dies – which coordinate with all three kits this quarter, Jan, Feb, & March or the Daffodil Stamp Set. You get to choose. I am going to show you how to make both variations.

1- Secure the holes in the Box Template with a little Tear
& Tape on the back (don’t remove the paper backing). Trim off the flaps
from the Box Template. From one of the large white sections cut to 2” x 2 3/8”.
This will go behind the Daffodils.
2- Cut a 4” section from the Box Template and then separate the two patterns along the fold line. Hide the score lines by embossing each piece with your choice of Embossing Folder. I used the Crosshatch pattern from the Basics 3D Folders Pack.
3- Add the Green Flower Pattern to the cardbase about ¾” from the top and along the right edge. Add the Pink Check Pattern with about ¾” overlap and the left side along the left edge of the cardfront.
4- Create your Daffodils:
Die Cuts – From the Daffodil Delight Cardstock cut three
flowers. Use the Dark Daffodil Delight marker to add depth to the flowers. I
added it to the top of the trumpet, and a little on the inside of each petal. You
can also use the Light maker to blend if you want. Trim the flower from the
Stem.
Cut out three flowers from the Garden Green Cardstock. Trim the petals off the flower and add the Daffodil Delight Flower on top at any angle.
Cut out two leaves from Granny Apple Green and separate them in the middle creating a three leaf and two leaf piece. Place one behind each Garden Green Stem.
Add the three finished flowers to the center of the White
Cardstock (no dimensionals).
Stamps – Stamp two Daffodil images in Early Espresso ink in the center of the White Cardstock and one on Daffodil Delight Cardstock. Color the flowers in with Light Daffodil Delight Blends (not necessary on the Daffodil Delight Cardstock) & Dark Daffodil Delight marker to add depth to the flowers. I added it to the top and right side of the trumpet, and a little on the inside of each petal.
Color the leaves and stems with Garden Green Stampin’ Write Marker (there are no Blends in this color).
Fussy cut out the flower & stems on color cardstock.
Layer the yellow flower on top of the green stems and glue to the center of the White Cardstock.
5- Stamp your greeting on the Dark Purple Banner with the small section on the left.
6- Extend the top of the Banner into the curve on the left so you can tuck the White Cardstock further in, making it look like the ribbon is going behind the paper. Adhere the Banner to the bottom of the Daffodils.
7- Add the Daffodils to the right side of the card with dimensionals.
8- Add 3 White Dots.
All Done
I have also created a video walking you through each step:
