Welcome to Paper Pumpkin Week here on Creative Chelsey.
Today I am sharing with you my second alternative card using the February 2024 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Sweet Springtime. The projects from this kit perfect for this time of year, it creates a total of 6 greeting card 3 in two different designs, and 3 gift boxes. If you would like to watch me unbox the kit and create these cards click on the link below.

Each month I take the contents from the paper pumpkin kits and make alternative projects. My cards are easy to follow and can be made by both experienced or new paper crafter. You may need just a couple other products to complete them. You can follow along with me using supplies you already have or purchase any products you see me use from my online store. All links are below.
Today’s card creates a cute springtime scene.

1- Cut the folded edges from the Pink Envelope. Trim down to 4 ¼” x 5 ½”. Add to the front of the cardbase.
2- From the other side of the envelope (light crumb cake)
cut to 3 ¼” x 4 ¼”.
3- Cover the bottom and left edges of the Light Crumb Cake piece at about ¼”. Measure about 2 ½” from the bottom right corner and stamp the Daffodils in Early Espresso. Stamp the flowers again with the top of the flowers sitting about 2 ½” from the bottom left corner. Remove the covering (this keeps the edge of the paper with a clean look – see video).
4- With the bottom of the Frame measured at 3” carefully trim off the top. Adhere the bottom piece over the top with the top edge of the sides matching along the top edge of the rectangle. Adhere this to the center of the Light Crumb Cake piece (see video).
5- Place one Daffodil Delight Die Cut with a dimensional along the right area using a blade of grass as a stem. Add the Rabbit and Chick behind the grasses in the left area with a little adhesive at the bottom and a dimensional under the head.
6- Stamp a greeting in Early Espresso ink on a simple label shape from Petal Pink Cardstock. I used the one from The Love Of Spring Dies.
7- Add the cute scene to the center of the cardbase with dimensionals.
8- Add 3 White Embellishments around the greeting.
All Done!
I have also created a video walking you through each step:
