Today I am excited to share with you a beautiful wedding card I made for the TGIF Challenges Blog. Every week on Friday they post fun challenges to help spark your creativity. There are always a good variety of challenges from great sketches to, fun color combinations and unique themes. This week the challenge was to use this image as
inspiration. I was inspired to use soft colors, a strong floral element and a delicate
die cut for my card. I love how my card turned out and want to share with you
some tips and tricks I when making this card.

You will need:
Thick Basic White Cardbase – 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”
Vellum Cardstock – 4” x 5 ¼”
Bubble Bath Soft Shimmer Specialty Paper – 3 ½” x 5”
Basic White Cardstock – scraps for die cuts & greeting

This was such a fun card to create. I hope you play along
with this week’s TGIF Challenge and share your creation on the blog.
1- Add Adhesive Sheet to the back of the Bubble Bath Soft Shimmer Paper. Then nest all four middle size dies from the Countryside Corners Dies and cut out.
2- On the back of each piece, replace the die and trace with a pencil the outside edge.
Then cut along the traced line to create a thinner frame. Repeat for all 4 pieces. See video for detailed steps.
3- Emboss the vellum with your choice of embossing folder. I used the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. Add this to the front of the cardbase with glue dots in the corners. The embossing should hide the adhesive.
4- Add each of the frames to the center of the cardbase.
I started with the largest size and moved to the smaller one.
5- Cut from Basic White Cardstock your choice of flower or leaf dies. I used the Timeless Charm Dies.
6- Add color to the cut out dies with Stampin’ Blend
Markers:
For the two flower and single flower die I used: Light and Dark Berry Burst on the petals, Dark Lemon Lolly for the center, Light & Dark Lemon Lime Twist for stem and leaves.
For the six flower die I used: Dark Bubble Bath along the outside edge of each flower, Light Bubble Bath inside each flower, and Light Lemon Lime Twist for the stem.
For the fern die I used: Light Lost Lagoon
For two leaves I used: Dark Lost Lagoon
7- Layer the flowers and leaves in the bottom right area of the card.
I added the two flower die with dimensionals under the
flowers first.
Then tucked in the fern & leaves with glue dots at the base of each die cut.
Add the six flower die with dimensionals under the top three flowers, over the fern and to help hide any visible glue dots.
Tuck the single flower die underneath everything in the corner.
8- Stamp your greeting in Memento Black Ink and cut out with coordinating die. I like the Wonderful Thoughts Bundle for this so you don’t have to fussy cut.
9- Add three light pink embellishments from the
Iridescent Pastels Gems.
