#tgifc404 Birthday Theme Challenge - A Birthday On The Farm

Are you ready for another TGIF Challenge. This week is a theme challenge – BIRTHDAY!

Along with the Birthday Challenge I wanted to challenge myself to use products that are not Birthday Themed. The Day At The Farm Designer Series Paper is a SALE-A-BRATION item you can get from now until Feb. 28, 2023 with a $50 order. I love the cute farm animals and how easy they are to cut out with the coordinating dies from the On The Farm Bundle.

To turn this card into a Birthday Card I needed to find a greeting that pulled everything together. The “Sending Sunshine” come from the Good Feelings Stamp Set and “Happy Birthday” comes from the Something Fancy Stamp Set. Behind the vellum on the So Saffron cardstock I did stamp the Rays Of Light Background Stamp to play off the Sunshine imagery.

Don’t miss out on being inspired by the other designers – head over to TGIF Challenges Blog -

This was such a fun card to create and a real challenge to use non-birthday images. I hope you play along with this week’s TGIF Challenge and share your creation on the blog. To participate upload it to the TGIF blog post using the Linky Tool at the bottom. See the guidelines on the TGIF post.

Product List

1- Cut out different animals from the Designer Series Paper using the coordinating dies. Cut out a barn and silo with a pair of paper snips.

2- Cut out the fields from the pattern DSP. Cut along the edge of one of the hills. Add this to the bottom of a 4” x 5 ¼” piece of Vellum.

3- Layer the animals, barn, & silo on the fields.

4- Stamp “Sending Sunshine” in Pacific Point on Basic White Cardstock and fussy cut out. Stamp “Happy Birthday” in Cherry Cobbler on Basic White Cardstock and trim. Add these in the center on the top of the Vellum with dimensionals.

5- Stamp the Rays of Light Background image in Daffodil Delight on 4” x 5 ¼” piece of So Saffron Cardstock. Add this to the front of a Pear Pizazz Cardbase (5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”) at an angle.

6- Add the Vellum at an opposing angle with adhesive hiding behind the elements.

7- Add 3-5 Champagne Rhinestones around the greeting.

All Done!
