Welcome to Paper Pumpkin Week here at Creative Chelsey. I love getting my Paper Pumpkin Kit every month and creating fun alternative projects using the supplies in the kit. Today I am sharing my fourth alternative idea using the October 2022 Paper Pumpkin Kit – Ho Ho Ho.

This kit comes with everything you need to make 9 Christmas Cards, 3 in three different designs. This kit is so fun. I love the fun color combination, the cute die cuts & stamp images. What I like to do is use the supplies in the kit along with some other products and create different or alternative projects.
Today I am sharing with you how you can get two cards from one technique. When we use the large snowflake pattern die cut as a mask you can make as many of the blended backgrounds as you want. Then when you are done with the mask you can also use it as a fun background on a card.

1- Remove the back white side from the Crumb Cake cardbase at 4 ¼”.
2- Use your Stamparatus and add the large Snowflake
Pattern Die Cut like a mask to the center with the white side up, over the
white cardstock. Hold in place with the magnets.
3- Use your blending brush to add Bermuda Bay ink to the
cardstock. Stay away from the edges, you don’t want a line from the edge of the
mask. Fill in all the openings with color.
4- Move the mask so the snowflake pattern is moved to the large un-inked area. This will give your pattern more depth. Add color with your blending brush.
5- Move the mask again to cover the area that was not
covered in step 4. You will end up having a pattern similar to this.
6- Trim each side at 1/8” so your final piece is 4” x 5 ¼”
7- Add the blended background / mask to the front of the cardbase(s).
8- Cut a piece from the Crumb Cake Envelope or the inside of the white frame 2 ¾” x 3”
9- Stamp any images you want on the rectangle.
Crumb Cake – Santa & Reindeer in Early Espresso ink
White – Snowflakes in Bermuda Bay ink
10- Stamp the Santa image in Early Espresso and fussy cut out. Color with Stampin’ Blend Markers: Dark Cherry Cobbler, Light Crumb Cake, Light Sweet Sorbet. Add to the top center of the Snowflake Rectangle with dimensionals.
11- Add the rectangles to the right side of the cardbase
about ¾” from the top.
12- Add any leftover strips at the bottom of the rectangle.
13- Stamp your greetings in Early Espresso, Bermuda Bay or Cherry Cobbler on leftover labels or cardstock and fussy cut out.
14- Tie 14” of Glitter Ribbon at the base of the greetings with a knot on the right. Add some embellishments. I used Iridescent Rhinestones.
