Make More Handmade Cards Using July's 2022 Paper Pumpkin Stamps Sending Good Thoughts - Stampin' Up!

Welcome to Paper Pumpkin Week here at Creative Chelsey. I love getting my Paper Pumpkin Kit every month and creating fun alternative projects using the supplies in the kit. Today I am sharing my last alternative idea using the July 2022 Paper Pumpkin Kit – Sending Good Thoughts. This kit comes with everything you need to make 9 cards, three in 3 different designs.

Every month my Paper Pumpkin subscribers receive an exclusive card kit designed by me using the stamp set from that month’s Paper Pumpkin Kit. These are the cards they will be creating as an extra thank you for being my Paper Pumpkin Customer. If you would like to also receive this special perk, sign up today and select me as your demonstrator (Chelsey Christensen, CO) click here: https://www.paperpumpkin.com/en-us/sign-up/?demoid=2042902.

What I like to do is use the supplies in the kit and create different or alternative cards. Today I am sharing a quick and simple idea using just the stamp set from the kit to create a fun & simple card. I love creating alternative projects with Paper Pumpkin Kits so make sure to check out all the projects I have made with this month’s kit.

If this project inspires you to create something, I would love for you to tag me in any social media post using @creativechelsey | #creativechelsey or email me at chelsey@creativechelsey.com

Create some fun seascapes using the stamps in the kit. Here is one idea. See the photos above for more ideas.

1- Begin stamping the netting image with Basic Gray ink and “rock & roll” in the corners of the Basic White piece. Then, stamp your greeting in the center with Basic Gray ink.

2- Stamp the seaweed in Bermuda Bay ink on each sides of the greeting. Use the second generation technique to get a lighter color. See video for more details.

3- Stamp the starfishes in Fresh Freesia in the corners or along the edges. Stamp the sea horse near the end of the greeting.

4- Once you have stamped your scene, tear the bottom edge of the Basic White cardstock. Then tear one long edge of the 1” x 4 ¼” Fresh Freesia Strip. Add the Fresh Freesia to the back of the Basic White so the two torn edges are on the same side. Show as much or as little of the Fresh Freesia as you would like.

5- Add the Metallic Mesh Ribbon to the center of the Pool Party Cardbase and adhere in the middle. Add the Seascape Scene to the center over the ribbon with dimensionals. Trim off any ribbon that is hanging off the cardbase.

6- Add 3-5 sequins or gems around your card.

All Done!

I have also created a video walking you through each step and some of the details from the other cards:
