Today I am sharing my third card from my Stampin’ Up 2021 Artisan Design Team showcase project for April 2021.
If you would like to see all my projects together you can visit my blog post here: http://creativechelsey.blogspot.com/2021/04/artisan-design-team-april-2021-monthly.html
This is another fun interactive Shaker Card! I love how simple these cards are to put together. The cute hearts are the perfect addition to the inside of the shaker to keep the theme throughout. I hope you enjoy this tutorial and that it inspires you to create something beautiful today.

Create the shaker element:
1- Remove the inside section of one of the card layers
from the Sweet Little Valentines Card Pack with your Paper Trimmer. Line up the
cut line at about 7/16” from the edge. Start your blade in the middle and cut
to the top and bottom stopping at 7/16” from the edge. Repeat for all sides. Add
the window sheet to the back.
2- Remove the scallop edge from the piece you will use on for the back panel of the shaker element. Add Foam Adhesive Strips around the edges, making sure there are not gaps. Cut out 5 small hearts from Petal Pink, Melon Mambo, Calypso Coral Cardstock & Gold Foil. Place them right side up on top of the back panel. Remove the paper covering from the Foam Strips. Attach the front window.
3- To create a more finsihed look add a little Gilded Leafing to the inside of the holes around the edges.
4- Emboss the Petal Pink Cardstock with the Subtle Embossing Folder. Add it to the front of the cardbase. Remove the Stripe Pattern card front from one of the Card in the Sweet Little Valentines Card Pack and add it horizontally to the middle of the card.
5- Place the Shaker Element in the center of the card.
6- Using the Stamparatus stamp the small kangaroo in Early Espresso Ink on the silicone craft sheet a couple times. Add the Basic White Cardstock over the image on the silicone craft sheet and then stamp again. This creates a reverse image.
7- Using the Bronze & Ivory Stampin’ Blend Markers color in the kangaroo. Cut out using the coordinating die (match it to the original image on the back). Add it in the corner of the Shaker Element.
6- Fussy cut out the heart image from a second matching card layer. Wrap twine back and forth to create a double bow behind the heart. Attach it over the matching heart in the bottom right corner. Add 3 Opal Rounds.
All Done!
