For today’s card I wanted to showcase more Sale-a-bration items, the new Back to Back Blooms Stamp Set, and another fun Gilded Leafing Technique. This fun Ombre Paper is a FREE Sale-a-bration product you can choose when you purchase $50*. I love the four fun colors it come in, Rococo Rose, Granny Apple Green, Blackberry Bliss, and Bermuda Bay. It also come with a fun circle pattern or solid. The sentiment I used on this card is from the Heal Your Heart Stamp Set which is another Free SAB product*. I love how fussy cutting out the word together looks on this card. Lastly the Back to Back Blooms Stamp Set is new in the Jan-Jun Mini Catalog. Its fun line art lends to many different coloring techniques. Today I used the Stampin’ Blend Markers. I hope you enjoy this card and that it inspires you to create something new.

I am also using the Gilded Leafing on this card. This is a fun new product in the Jan-June 2021 Mini Catalog and online. Today I am sharing how to create a background effect with the Gilded Leafing.

Gilded Leafing Background Technique:

1- Create a water and Multipurpose Liquid Glue mixture. Spread over the silicone craft sheet. Add the Ombre DSP face down and tap/pat all over the paper to randomly pick up the glue mixture. Let dry.

2- Add the Glided Leafing all over and brush off excess.

Tip- for more Gilded Leafing increase the amount of glue, for less add more water.

To create card:

1- Create the Gilded Leafing Background on your choice of Ombre DSP. Add to the front of the cardbase with Liquid Glue and smooth with a bone folder.

2- Cut out the large rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly in Black Cardstock. Using the Paper Trimmer remove the inside to create a frame – line up the top edge of the scallops with the ¼” mark on the right side of the blade. Cut only in the middle to the ¼” mark at the top & ¼” from the bottom of the cardstock on the hinged cutting guide. Rotate and repeat (see video for more detailed instruction). Add this piece to the center of the card front.

3- Stamp the flowers & leaves in Memento Black ink. Color with your choice of Stampin’ Blend Markers. Fussy cut out.

4- About ½” from the bottom or top of the rectangle add some adhesive and adhere 3” of weave ribbon. Add the flowers & leaves over it with dimensionals.

5- Stamp the greeting in VersaMark on Black Cardstock. Add White Embossing Powder and heat until shinny. Fussy cut.

6- On the back of the greeting add 12” of Gold Twine in a bow shape. Adhere greeting to the card with mini dimensionals.

7- Add some Elegant Faceted Gems.
