Welcome to Paper Pumpkin Week here at Creative Chelsey. I love getting my Paper Pumpkin Kit every month and creating fun alternative projects using the supplies in the kit. Today is my first alternative project using the January 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit – Sending Hearts. This kit comes with everything you need to make 8 Valentine’s Day cards. Using the supplies in the kit I like to create alternative cards. Today I would like to share with you these two cards, one with supplies in the kit and the other with just the stamp set & punches.

I love creating alternative cards with Paper Pumpkin Kits so make sure to come back for more videos as I continue to create with this month’s kit. I would love to see your finished creations that are inspired by this tutorial! 1- Cut both cardbases from the kit in half on the score line at 4 ¼”. Save one 4 ¼” x 5 ½” piece from each for future alternative cards. On the others, rotate and cut again at 3 ¾”. Match one small piece with a large piece from the other pattern.

2- Cut the Large Black Scallop piece to 4 ¼”. Adhere to one of the smaller pattern pieces.

3- Add the large pattern piece to the bottom of the cardfront and the smaller piece at the top with the scallop in between. (If you are not using the scallop piece add the ½” x 4 ¼” strip of Black over the seam).

4- Stamp the large heart image in Poppy Parade ink inside the gold heart. Color inside the hearts with Dark Petal Pink Blend Marker. Then fussy cut out the gold heart. (If not using the gold heart, stamp on the white cardstock, color, and punch with a heart punch – punch the gold foil with the scallop heart and layer).

5- Temporarily place the heart on the left side of the card over the scallops. Stamp in Black ink the confetti hearts & flowers above the heart on the left and below on the right. Add the heart with dimensionals.

6- With 9” of Ribbon either tie a bow or create a faux bow on the right side next to the heart. Adhere with a glue dot.

7- Stamp the greeting in Black ink on the small rectangle from the kit or ½” strip of White cardstock. Add over the ribbon and heart with dimensionals.

8- Color some of the hearts with the Dark Poppy Parade Blend Marker. Add the Petal Pink hearts over the Poppy Parade cardstock and visa versa.

All Done!
