Today I would like to share with you a simple and easy layout card idea and how to use the Pattern Play Stamp Set to create fun backgrounds. Recently I have been enjoying designing card layouts using cardstock or Designer Series Paper. Here are the dimensions and pieces you will need to create this card:
Cardbase – 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”
Cardstock – 3 ¼” x 4 ½” (embossed) | 2 ½” x 3 ½” | 1” x 4”

1- Cut and Emboss coordinating cardstocks.
2- Stamp background images from the Pattern Play Stamp Set with coordinating ink colors.
3- Stamp, color, and cut out the main Image from your choice of Stamp Set.
4- Layer the 1” strip to the bottom of the 2 ½” x 3 ½” piece. Wrap ribbon or twine around the area where the two cardstock pieces meet and tie a bow.
5- Layer these pieces onto the Embossed Cardstock about ½” from the bottom.
6- Add the main stamped image to the front with dimensionals. Stamp the greeting and add near the main image with dimensionals.
7- Add everything to the center of the cardbase.
