I think that using the Stamparatus for this card would be ideal. It really helps create a perfect pattern. If you would like to use the Stamparatus watch the video below for instructions.
1- Begin by stamping the snowflake stamp in Night of Navy ink in the top right corner of the 4.25" x 5.5" Whisper White Cardstock. Make sure two of the sections of the snowflake are running horizontal on the paper. And that the tips of the sections touch the sides of the cardstock.
2- Measure and find the middle of your cardstock and make a small marking. Without rotating the stamp, line up the center of the snowflake with the marking and stamp in Night of Navy so the snowflake tip is touching the right side of the cardstock.
3- Next, stamp the snowflake in the bottom right corner of the cardstock. Again don't rotate the snowflake and you want the tips to touch the sides of the cardstock.
4- Repeat this process but on the left side of the cardstock.
5- Now we will stamp in the middle between the left and right of snowflakes. Turn your stamp 90 degrees and center it so the horizontal sections of the right and left snowflakes are pointing to the center of the middle snowflake. Stamp in Night of Navy.
Repeat - going down the cardstock to finish the pattern.
6- Clean your stamp and switch your ink to Pool Party. We are now going to stamp in the white spaces created by the three rows of snowflakes. Start on the right side and rotate the stamp so that the top and bottom sections are pointing towards the middle of the Night of Navy snowflakes. The image will overlap slightly. This is okay since we are using a lighter ink color.
7- Repeat on both the right and left sides. Make sure to also do above the top and bottom Night of Navy images. So it looks like the pattern is continuing off the paper.
8- Rotate your stamp so the middle sections are running horizontal and the Night of Navy images are pointing to the center of the stamp. Repeat to finish the pattern.
9- Trim the Whisper White Cardstock from 4.25" to 3.75". Take a 0.25" off each side. Keep the length at 5.5"
10- Adhere the Night of Navy cardstock to the back. This will give it a little border on the right and left sides.
11- Center it on the Pool Party card base.
12- If you have extra of the Pool Party labels from the Paper Pumpkin Kit you can use those to stamp your greeting. If not use a 0.5" x 3.25" strip of cardstock and flag the ends. Then stamp your greeting in Night of Navy. I used Winter Wishes.
13- Add some snail to the back of your greeting. Wrap some silver metallic thread around your hand about 5 times. Cut. Lay the wrapped thread down on your table and shape. Then lay the greeting on top to pick up the thread. Tuck or cut any ends.
14- Add dimensionals over the silver thread and one in the middle for support.
Add the greeting to the left of the card so the left side is touching the edge of the card and it is centered between the middle and bottom of the Night of Navy snowflakes.
15- Add 3 or 4 frosted epoxy droplets around the greeting.
All done!
