Today is another tutorial for the Global Stampin’ Video Hop on YouTube. Each month on the fourth Friday other Stampin’ Up Demonstrators from around the world come together and share their projects based on a monthly theme. September’s Theme is CLEAN AND SIMPLE or STAMP A STACK. Today I am sharing this clean and simple card using some of the Free products you can get during Sale-a-bration (ends Sept 30, 2021) I hope these cards inspire you to create something simple and beautiful today.
Make sure to check out what everyone makes for this monthly Video Hop. You can start with my video, I have linked it below. You can find the next video at the top of the video’s description on YouTube. Have fun!

1- Begin by marking the center points on the 4” x 5 ¼” Basic White piece. You will want a 2” mark going vertically down the middle and a 2 5/8” horizontal mark.
2- Stamp your first circle in Pale Papaya (or other color) on one side of the 2” vertical line so it is slightly touching the line and the center of the circle lines up with the 2 5/8” horizontal mark.
3- Clean the stamp and stamp in your second color (Petal Pink) on the other side directly across from the first circle. Then stamp the same color directly below the first circle so the edges are just barely touching.
4- Clean, then stamp in the first color directly above the second circle. They should be slightly touching.
5- Then stamp in the third color in the open spaces. Keep the circles directly above, below, or across from previously stamped circles and edges should just barely touch. We are creating a fun pattern. Make sure to erase the pencil markings with a good eraser.
6- Stamp the greeting in a dark color (Memento Black) in the bottom right corner. Then stamp the main image in the same ink color to the left of the greeting.
7- Add to the center of the cardbase.
All Done!
Some ideas on how to create a Stepped-Up Version:
1- Add layers!
I added 4 ¼” x 5 ½” Pale Papaya Pattern Paper from the Pansy Petals Designer
Series Paper to the cardbase. I also cut down the Basic White Cardstock to 3 ¾”
x 5” so more of the pattern could be seen.
I punched out the greeting with the Treasured Tags Pick A Punch and added it
with Dimensionals.
2- Add Embellishments
For this card I kept it simple with a little black twine next to the greeting.
How I create a WOW card:
3- Add Techniques or Texture
For this Wow card I used the fun Stampatatus watercolour splapping technique Esther
Howard shared last month during the Global Video Hop. You can check it out by
clicking on this link here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pVKATQt4jOo . I used it on the circles in the background.
I also added color to the flowers with Stampin’ Blend Markers and fussy cut them out. Coloring and Fussy cutting are great techniques for a wow card.
4- Add a second embellishment
I added the Pale Papaya
Ribbon and Matte Black Dots
