Hello My Crafting Friends,
Today I am excited to share with you this fun set of cards made with two sheets of Designer Series Paper. I made these to as a showcase projects for the Stampin’ Up 2021 Artisan Design Team!
These cute cards are made with two sheets from the Well Suited Designer Series Paper. I love how the floral images from the Always In My Heart Stamp Set contrast with the strong patterns from the DSP. I hope you enjoy these projects and that they inspire you to create something new.
In this blog post I am just sharing the tutorials for the first two cards. Over the next couple weekends I will be making the other cards live in my Facebook Group. I will link the blog posts here as they are completed.

Card #1
1- Follow the Cutting Guide. You can cut both sheets of
DSP at the same time. I recommend starting with the vertical cuts at 4”. This
will give you 3 – 4” strips that you can then cut down to the size you need for
each card. Keep the extra pieces in baggies so you don’t loose anything. When
working with a pattern that is directional. Make sure when you cut the 3 – 4”
sections that the top of the pattern is at the top of your Paper Trimmer.
2- Place the large 4” x 5 ¼” DSP piece on the cardbase of
a coordinating color.
2- Cut a coordinating piece of cardstock (I used Silver
Foil Sheet) to 1 5/8” x 4”. Place this behind the 1 ½” x 4” DSP piece. Then add
to the card lower than center.
3- Decorate with coordinating stamps & dies.
(Repeat for a second card of #1)
Card #2
1- Place the (2) DSP pieces 2 9/16” x 4” on the cardbase.
There should be an even border around the outside edge and between the two
pieces. I liked using two different patterns for these pieces.
2- Place the 3” x 4 1/8” piece in the center with
dimensionals. I used a third pattern here.
3- Decorate with coordinating stamps & dies
(Repeat for a second card of #2)
Quick Tip:
Technique – When lining up stamped images with unique shapes
like the banner from the Floral Hearts Dies use your Stamparatus with a scrap
piece of Window Sheet and a little masking tape to create a hinge. Stamp first
on the window sheet (see to the left of the Stamparatus in photo), place your
die cut under the window sheet and line it up where you want it. Then lift the
Window Sheet and stamp on the die cut. Perfect every time
