Another Simple Handmade Card Layout & How to Add Embossed Details to Die Cuts - Part #2 | Stampin Up

For today’s tutorial I have another simple card layout design that can easily be recreated using any die cut shapes and stamp images. Plus Part #2 on how I add embossing details to my die cut images. This particular card uses a lot of new products in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. If you are interested in purchasing any products you can visit my online store https://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/default.aspx?dbwsdemoid=2042902
I would love to see your finished creations that are inspired by this tutorial! You can tag me in any social media post using @creativechelsey | #creativechelsey or email me at chelsey@creativechelsey.com

Bone Folder 102300 $7.00
Stampin' Pierce Mat 126199 $5.00
Take Your Pick Tool 144107 $10.00

1- Begin by cutting the fern shapes from the Just Jade and Bumblebee Cardstock using a die cutting machine. Keep the paper in the die and turn over. Using the small end of the stylus from the Take Your Pick Tool, rub the cardstock into the hole in each leaf.
This will add a cute embossed look to your leaves.
2- Cut 2 4” x 2” size Stitched Nested Labels from the white textile paper in the In Good Taste DSP pack.
3- Emboss the Crumb Cake cardstock with the Tasteful Textile embossing folder.
4- Place one of the Stitched Nested Labels in the middle of the embossed cardstock slide it to the right so it is about ¾” away from the edge. Cut the second one in half and add a half to the top left and the other to the bottom right. Line up the edges to they match and with about a ¼” gap. Trim off any excess paper and add it to the center of the cardbase.
5- Add a Gold Hoop to the left and near the bottom
of the middle label with liquid glue.
6- Place the Just Jade fern over the hoop in the center of the label. Add the Bumblebee fern over the Just Jade at a right angle.
7- Stamp your greeting “Hello” in Early Espresso ink and cut out with the banner die from the Tasteful Label Dies. Place around the Hoop with dimensionals.

All Done!
