SPOOKY BANNER

I am in love!
When I first saw this banner kit in the Holiday Catalog it did not wow me. But when I went to convention and they created one on Main Stage and had it on display, once I saw the elements up close and could feel the canvas of the banner, I knew I needed to give it a try and I am so glad I did!
There was some experimenting I had to go through to get the right technique for the sponging. I am hoping to do a video tutorial about it soon...look back in a week or so. But that honestly took the longest time.
The rest came together really quickly and I loved adding my own little touches with the rhinestones. I did have some buttons, an element, and ribbon leftover so I am going to create a card to go along with the banner, coming soon :)
I did tie the pumpkin pie ribbon in a bow and hot glued the black ribbon and circle on top. I like the look of a bow instead of just folded ribbon.
I love the rosettes. They are already scored and ready to fold...super easy! Make sure to use hot glue and some sticky strip when putting them together or they will just fall apart.
Love this bat. These elements have glitter all over them! I tied the pumpkin pie ribbon into a bow and then cut it up to give it a frayed look.
Last is the best...I love the 2 small rhinestones on the body of the spider making it feel like a black widow. And love the stacked buttons with a large rhinestone on top.

I am having a class to make this banner on Sept. 5 from 6-8pm. So save the date!
