Today I am sharing with you my fifth set of alternative cards using the February 2024 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Sweet Springtime. The projects from this kit perfect for this time of year, it creates a total of 6 greeting card 3 in two different designs, and 3 gift boxes. If you would like to watch me unbox the kit and create these projects click on the link below.

Each month I take the contents from the paper pumpkin kits and make alternative projects. My cards are easy to follow and can be made by both experienced or new paper crafter. You may need just a couple other products to complete them. You can follow along with me using supplies you already have or purchase any products you see me use from my online store. All links are below.
Today I will be using the products in the kit to create sweet baby cards. Of course, if you don’t need baby cards you can always use a different greeting.

Card #1
1- Begin by opening up the Green Flower Cardbase and with
the score line running horizontal cutting a 4”. Then rotate and cut again at 5 ¼”.
2- Add the Daffodil Delight Cardstock to the center of
the cardbase at an angle. TIP if you are going to cut out the “love” die cut for
the greeting you can do this from the center of this piece before adding it to
the cardbase – it will save you cardstock.
3- Add the Green Flower pattern at an opposing angle to
the cardbase, with the score line in the bottom half of the card.
4- Using the light pink strip that was removed for Alternative Card #1 from the Top of the Bunny Cardbase mark in the center every ¼” with a pencil. Punch a small hole at each marking. If you want you can sew string through the holes or even add more.
5- Add this over the score line.
6- Add any other small strips of pattern you may have from past alternatives to the Light Pink strip. I used a ¼” strip from the back, pink check pattern, of the Bunny Cardbase.
7- Cut a 2 3/8” Circle from Vellum Cardstock. Add the Bunny and Chick Die Cut to the top half.
8- Stamp your greeting in Early Espresso on one of the
small tabs removed from the Box Template. Cut out BABY and add it to the bottom
of the Bunny & Chick Die Cut.
9- Add the “love” Die Cut (from The Love Of Spring Dies) below at an angle.
10- Add everything to the leftside of the Light Pink
Strip with dimensionals.
11- Add 3 White Dots.
Card #2
1- Emboss the 4” x 5 ¼” Crumb Cake piece with an embossing
folder. I used the Star pattern from the Basics 3D Pack. Add it to the center
of the cardbase.
2- Add the Tall Chick Label a little to the left of center with dimensionals.
3- Add two leaves cut with The Love Of Spring Dies in
Granny Apple Green to the bottom right corner.
4- Stamp your greeting on a large tab from the Box Template in Early Espresso and cut out with the a 1 ½” Circle punch or die cut. Add this between the two leaves with dimensionals.
5- From the leftover Green Flowers Pattern cut out 3-5
flowers and add them around the greeting.
All Done!
