Today I am sharing with you my fifth alternative card using the January 2024 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Lovely Lavender. The projects from this kit are really beautiful, it creates a total of 8 greeting card 4 in two different designs, and 4 tags. Each month I take the contents from the paper pumpkin kits and make alternative projects. My cards are easy to follow and can be made by both experienced or new paper crafter. You may need just a couple other products to complete them a full supply list is below. You can follow along with me using supplies you already have or purchase any products you see me use from my online store.

card using the envelopes and a couple die cuts from the kit.

1- Open the Purple Envelope by trimming off the folded sides. From the white (back) side cut a 3 ¼” x 2 ¼” piece. We will watercolor on this piece.
Save the scraps.
2- Watercolor on the White Envelope piece. Begin by
adding a clean water wash, then add Lost Lagoon ink. You can add as much color
as you want. Let dry. Distress the edges.
3- Stamp the Branch image on the Lost Lagoon Watercolor
piece once dry with Lost Lagoon ink on the right side.
4- Trim the Crumb Cake Cardbase down to 3 ¾” x 5”. Distress the edges.
5- On the Purple Envelope side cut at 2 ¾” with the long edge along the top of your paper trimmer. Then rotate and cut again at 2 ¾”, creating a square. Distress the edges.
Add this to the center of the Crumb Cake piece at an angle.
Add the Lost Lagoon Watercolor piece over the Purple piece at an opposing angle.
6- Add the Small Garden Green Leaf Die Cut over on the right side over the stamped image.
7- Add the Small Lavender Flower over the Leaf with dimensionals.
8- Stamp your greeting on a White Envelope scrap in Gorgeous Grape. Trim down and distress the edges. Add to the left of the Lavender with dimensionals.
9- If you want add two Staples in the top left corner of the envelope papers. Splatter Early Espresso ink over the card. I used a Stampin’ Write Marker.
10- Add everything to the center of the cardbase with dimensionals.
