#tgifc398 Sketch Challenge - So Wonderful - A Butterfly Rainbow Card

I am so happy to announce that have been asked to join the fabulous TGIF Challenges Design Team. I have been following this group of amazing designers and their fun challenges for a long time. Every week on Friday they post fun challenges to help spark your creativity. There are always a good variety of challenges from great sketches to, fun color combinations and unique themes. If you haven’t seen their blog make sure to jump over and check them out - https://tgifchallenges.blogspot.com/

This week is a Sketch Challenge:

Here is the card I created from the sketch challenge this week. I wanted something fun and bright. I also wanted to use some of the products in the Annual Catalog so I pulled out my Butterfly Brilliance Stamp Set, Coordinating Brilliant Wings Dies, and the Hues Of Happiness Designer Series Paper and had a match made in Butterfly Heaven.

Don’t miss out on being inspired by the other designers – head over to TGIF Challenges Blog - https://tgifchallenges.blogspot.com/2022/12/tgifc398-sketch-challenge.html

Did you know that you can participate in the challenges each week? Create your own project inspired by the current weekly challenge. Upload it to the TGIF blog post using the Linky Tool at the bottom. See the guidelines on the TGIF post.

I would love to see what you make!

Product List

1- Stamp the butterflies in Stazon Black Ink. Cut out with coordinating dies.

2- Use Watercolor Pencils and add color inside the wings. Use a Water Painter to soften the color and slightly mix them together. Let dry.

3- Emboss a 4” x 5 ¼” Basic White piece with an embossing folder, I used the Into The Clouds Folder. Add this to the front of a cardbase of Thick Basic White Cardstock 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”

4- Add a fun pattern from the Hues of Happiness DSP – 2 ¼” x 4 ¾” on the left side.

5- Stamp your greeting on a coordinating color cardstock (Melon Mambo) in VersaMark Ink. Add white embossing powder and heat until shiny. Cut out with a fun shape. I used the Seasonal Label Dies. Add this to the center of the card with dimensionals.

6- Add the butterflies with dimensionals. Add some sequins or embellishments.

All Done!
