More Alternative Handmade Card Ideas - June 2022 Pick Of The Crop Paper Pumpkin Crafting Kit

Welcome to Paper Pumpkin Week here at Creative Chelsey. I love getting my Paper Pumpkin Kit every month and creating fun alternative projects using the supplies in the kit. Today I am sharing my fourth alternative idea using the June 2022 Paper Pumpkin Kit – Pick Of The Crop.

This kit comes with everything you need to make 9 Handmade Cards, 3 in three different designs. What I like to do is use the supplies in the kit along with some other products and create different or alternative cards. Today I am sharing two cards that use some of the scraps from the past alternative cards. I love creating alternative projects with Paper Pumpkin Kits so make sure to come back for more as I continue to create with this month’s kit.

If this project inspires you to create something, I would love for you to tag me in any social media post using @creativechelsey | #creativechelsey or email me at chelsey@creativechelsey.com

———————— What You Need ————————

Blue Picnic Blanket Cardbase – back piece 4 3/16” x 5 7/16”

Blushing Bride Cardstock 4 3/16” x 5 7/16”

Envelope or Blue Picnic Blanket Scraps

10” White Baker’s Twine

Thick Basic White Cardbase 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”

Vellum 2 ½” x 3”

Basic White Cardstock 2 ¼” x 1 ¼” & scraps

———————— Supplies I used to Make These Cards  ————————

 ———————— My Favorite Supplies ————————

1- Triangle accent piece. Use one of the triangles from the Blue Picnic Cardbase or create your own. Start with a 2” x 4 3/16” piece. Cut from the top left corner to the bottom right.

2- Lay the triangle in place on the color cardstock, do not adhere. Get an idea where you should begin stamping your image. Randomly stamp the fruit on the cardstock in a coordinating color. I used Night of Navy for the blueberries and Calypso Coral for the strawberries.

3- Add color with a blender pen – see video for more details

4- Add the color cardstock and triangle to the cardbase.

5- Tear the bottom from the vellum piece and adhere to the right side of the cardbase. Stamp your greeting on to Basic White cardstock in a coordinating ink color. Tear the bottom of the greeting. Adhere an accent piece from an envelope or other scrap. Tear the bottom edge and add to the back of the greeting. Trim the sides to match. Adhere with dimensionals over the vellum.

6- Stamp a couple more fruit on the Basic White scraps. Color with a Blender Pen and fussy cut. See video for details.

7- Add the fruit with dimensionals to the left side of the greeting. Tie a bow with 10” of white twine adhere near the fruit.

All Done!

I have also created a video walking you through each step
