FUN FOLD Flip Book / Waterfall Alternative Handmade Card Idea - April 2022 Paper Pumpkin Stampin' Up!

Welcome to Paper Pumpkin Week here at Creative Chelsey. I love getting my Paper Pumpkin Kit every month and creating fun alternative projects using the supplies in the kit. Today I am sharing my third alternative idea using the April 2022 Paper Pumpkin Kit – Change Is Beautiful.

This kit comes with everything you need to make 9 Beautiful Cards, 3 in three different designs. What I like to do is use the supplies in the kit along with some other products and create different or alternative cards. Today I am sharing a flip or waterfall card idea using the Flower Cardbase from the kit. I love creating alternative projects with Paper Pumpkin Kits so make sure to come back for more as I continue to create with this month’s kit.

If this project inspires you to create something, I would love for you to tag me in any social media post using @creativechelsey | #creativechelsey or email me at chelsey@creativechelsey.com.

It is Paper Pumpkin Week here on Creative Chelsey. This is the third alternative this week. If you would like to see all my alternatives check out the playlist here: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL40dV1oxpkNmEDXzcuBXTbQJ2A6DI7ahw

1- Open the Crushed Curry Envelope and cut down to 4” x 5 ¼” add to the center of the So Saffron Cardbase.

2- Cut down the flower cardbase into three sections 2 ½” x 4”.

3- Score the 3” x 4” at 2 ¼”, 2 ½”, 2 ¾” on the 4” side. Crease each score back and forth. On the 2 ¼” section add the full bloom section so the left edge sits on the score line. Watch the video for better instruction.

4- Add the closed flower section to the next ¼” section.

5- Then add the first panel to the last ¼” section. Fold the extra section back behind.

6- Decorate each panel from the back to the front. You can stamp a greeting on the Bermuda Bay side and add flower die cuts. Add embellishments to the center of the yellow flowers.

7- Add dimensionals to the top and bottom of the back panel when it is open to the full bloom panel and add to the center of the cardbase. (see video)

8- Stamp a greeting on the label and add to the front panel with dimensionals.

All Done!
