Use Your Scraps with the February 2022 SheetLoad of Cards and Sunshine & Rainbows DSP #SLCTFeb2022

Today I would like to share with you my cards I made with this month’s SheetLoad of Cards by Call Me Crafty Al. Each month Alicia from Call Me Crafty Al designs a fun template to create multiple handmade cards. Her designs are always fun and easy to use. They include a list of the types of products you need along with measurements to help you cut each piece.

For this set of cards I wanted to show you another one of the free products you can get during Sale-a-bration (Jan 4 – Feb 28, 2022). The Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper is free with any $50 order. I love how Stampin’ Up is adding free products that coordinate with other products. This beautiful paper coordinates so perfectly with the Rainbow of Happiness Stamp Set & coordinating Brilliant Rainbow Dies. However, for this card I wanted a couple hearts to go along with the greeting so I also pulled in the Sweet Conversations Stamp Set & Sweet Hearts Dies.

When I was thinking about this sketch, I realized it was a great layout for scraps. To illustrate this idea, I decided to cut each pattern from the Sunshine & Rainbows DSP and create 6 different cards. I love finding new ways to use up scraps from other projects.

Another great tip for when you want to stamp and die cut the same images multiple times.

First, add all the stamps you want to use on to one clear block. Ink & stamp.

Then add the coordinating dies and adhere in place with a little washi tape. Run through your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.

To quickly make more, stamp again, and do not remove the dies from the first piece of cardstock. Just lay it over the stamped images and hold in place with washi tape. Repeat as many times as you want.

I have shared and talked about these cards on my YouTube Channel, so check them out.
