Paper Pumpkin Monthly Crafting Kit - November 2020 Jolly Gingerbread Alternative Handmade Card Ideas

Welcome to Paper Pumpkin Week here at Creative Chelsey. I love getting my Paper Pumpkin Kit every month and creating fun alternative projects using the supplies in the kit. Today is my third alternative project using the November 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit – Jolly Gingerbread. For today’s card I wanted to keep with the Gingerbread House feeling by using a Cinnamon Cider Cardbase and the cute Candy Dots. There are two versions of the card, one with a Gingerbread House Gift Card and the other using the Gingerbread House Stamp.

I love creating alternative cards with Paper Pumpkin Kits so make sure to come back for more videos as I continue to create with this month’s kit. I would love to see your finished creations that are inspired by this tutorial! 1- Card #1 Stamp the scroll designs on the front and back house die cuts in Blushing Bride ink. Remove a door from a gingerbread house and add it behind the open doorway with dimensionals. Trim any brown cardstock that may still be showing past the white house die-cut.

Card #2 Stamp and color a Gingerbread house using a blender pen and coordinating colors, see supply list above and the below technique video for details. Then fussy cut.

2- Add the Gingerbread houses to the center of the Blushing Bride Cardstock with dimensionals. Stamp the medium sized scroll at the top and bottom of the Gingerbread Houses.

3- Cut open an Envelope and cut 4 – ½” x 4 ¼” strips. Add these strips to the center of each side of the Blushing Bridge cardstock so about ¼” is showing. Now add this element to the right side of each cardbase.

4- Attach the greeting to the left of the Gingerbread Houses with dimensionals. Add three Candy Dots. Card #1 Add one to the top of the Gingerbread House with a dimensional in the opening.

All Done!
