DIY HACK - 2 Handmade Cards inspired by Stampin Up's ORNATE GARDEN SUITE using the Daisy Lane Stamps

I am in love with the new Ornate Garden Suite. It is from the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog and has been early released so you can get it now. However, my order hasn’t come yet, but I was so inspired by all the beautiful products that I wanted to still make something that went along with the colors and images. So, I decided to do a DIY and Card Hack the Ornate Garden Suite. These are the cards I came up with. I hope you enjoy this tutorial and give it a try with either the products from the Ornate Garden Suite or the Daisy Lane Stamp Set.

Here are links to the new products in the Ornate Garden Suite, just click on the link and it will take you to my online store where you can get more information and purchase.

Card #1
1- Use the Embossing Buddy over the Old Olive card front. Stamp the leaf image randomly in VersaMark ink. Cover with Gold Embossing Powder and Heat until shinny.
2- Use the Embossing Buddy over the Very Vanilla cardstock. Stamp the large daisy image 2X in VersaMark ink. Cover with Gold Embossing Powder and Heat until shinny. Punch with the coordinating Daisy Punch.
3- Stamp the center of the flower in a large area from the Very Vanilla scrap paper in VersaMark ink. Cover with Gold Embossing Powder and Heat. Punch out the center with ½” circle punch.
4- Adhere the Garden Green card front to the Thick Very Vanilla cardbase. Adhere the ½” strip of Crushed Curry about 1/3 from the bottom. Then add the ¼” strip of Terracotta Tile over the top of the Crushed Curry strip.
5- Adhere one daisy on top of the other to create a fuller flower. Adhere it to the card on the left above the strips.
6- Stamp the greeting “It’s your time to shine” in Terracotta Tile ink on the Very Vanilla 7/16” strip.
Add it with dimensionals so it is just barely over the middle of the flower and sitting above the strips. Add the center of the flower with a dimensional.

All Done!
Card #2
1- Stamp the small daisy flower image randomly in Terracotta Tile ink over the Terracotta Tile card front.
2- Stamp 2 large and 4 medium daisies in Terracotta Tile on the Petal Pink cardstock. Punch using the coordinating punches. Layer 2 matching flowers together to create a fuller flower 1 large and 2 medium.
3- Stamp 2 large and 2 medium daisies in Crushed Curry on the So Saffron cardstock. Punch using the coordinating punches. Layer 2 matching flowers together to create a fuller flower 1 large and 1 medium.
4- Use a die cutting machine and the leaf die from the In the Woods Dies, cut 3 leaves from Old Olive cardstock. Use another leaf image from the Bouquet Bunch Dies and cut 3 leaves from Pear Pizzazz cardstock.
5- Use the largest scallop rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and cut from the Mint Macaron cardstock.
6- Adhere the Terracotta Tile card front to the Thick Very Vanilla card base. Add the Mint Macaron scallop rectangle in the bottom right corner with about ½” border on the right and bottom edges.
7- Add the Terracotta Tile large flower in the top left corner of the Mint Macaron scallop. Add the Crushed Curry large flower in the bottom right corner.
8- Add the leaves around the flowers. I matched one of each style together to create more interest. You can tuck them under the larger flowers if you want.
9- Add the smaller flowers between the larger ones. I popped up the medium Crushed Curry with a dimensional.
10- Stamp the greeting “The best moments in my life happen with you” in Early Espresso on Very Vanilla cardstock. Cut with the 1 ½” circle die from the Layering Circle Dies. Adhere the 10” Braided Linen Trim back and forth to create a bow look. Adhere to the card with dimensionals.
11- Add 3 Gold Faceted Gems in the center of the Terracotta Tile flowers.

All Done!
